The official NWS forecast for PGH calls for 3-6 inches not 6-12 inches, and that is what they are on pace to get. If you're not in that special location, usually 100 miles NW of the center, then you're not getting the biggest amounts. I like our 10-14" forecast at this point for most of us and I'll be driving back to Rochester from Scranton PA tomorrow so I can predict and broadcast this storm on News 8 tomorrow evening.
