But guys like you weatherdan, weatherguy, Andrew and Hamlin Plower want to keep wishcasting on models way out. Have you hopers not figured this winter out yet? There is not enough cold air for any big storm and if we do get any storm it goes west for rain or too far south or off the coast. Please stop it and let the experts do their job. As you can see there has not been a post from the experts in several days that should tell all of you something right?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-59271800317419212382012-02-20T10:47:38.232-05:002012-02-20T10:47:38.232-05:00All the storms I see coming up look to go West bri...All the storms I see coming up look to go West bringing in warm air and then a brief shot of cold air with minor lake effect before the nest system goies to our West. I think next week could be active. The 6z GFS has a nice storm on the coast for this week. I know it is 9 days out but has shown the last several runs and the Euro has also shown it. Also I know it means little especially this winter. But maybe one will pan out fnally. This year - 44". We are still holding at #3 for the least snowiest winters in ROC as of today. We've still got time, but it's getting harder and harder to make up. I never witnessed a pattern so stubborn. We will see about this weekend, but I am doubtful now from whast I earlier thought. I have given up on this winter and am now excited about baseball to start. I hope we are in for a nice dry spring and hot summer. We really need to dry out. It has been so wet since late summer. I am not buying into the GFS 18Z model run at this time, it will make many changes early this coming week. Even if this storm hooks west or us LES potential might be high over the weekend. I said it will be intresting come end of this week and i still beleive it will. It is much easier to sit around and wait for the models to show us a clear cut storm and its track and then talk about it, than it is to suggest what looks like you think might take place without models showing it exactly that way. We can only wait and see. I think it is worth watching though.Hamlin Plowernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-88519950677545022692012-02-19T20:43:53.244-05:002012-02-19T20:43:53.244-05:00The next three storms are all rain makers accordin...The next three storms are all rain makers according to the models.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-6377684360815811952012-02-19T19:44:02.331-05:002012-02-19T19:44:02.331-05:00Not sure still what you guys are seeing?
