I did mention that we would have to watch that time frame, but no graphic. You must have been watching someone else? I do think there's a chance of us being affected by it, as models trend this way a bit more with each run the last day or two, but way too far out to have any confidence either way. Have a great day & weekend everyone!

Best,
John News 8 Weatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10107233504909304176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-74658999351718457502013-03-01T11:26:43.712-05:002013-03-01T11:26:43.712-05:00Based on the latest GFS run and the Euro John is n...Based on the latest GFS run and the Euro John is not off base so anonymous 6:02 you just may have egg on your face. What is he talking about? Following a models seven days out? Nothing really there and if it is way east of us. Does everyone just hope for snow including mets? Other channels have us at or above 40 next Wed/Thurs. Unreal snow mongers just enjoy the spring and below average snow we have received this winter again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-81341440260028705062013-02-28T16:07:30.120-05:002013-02-28T16:07:30.120-05:00It may not snow much more but spring is definitely...It may not snow much more but spring is definitely not here. I know Weatherguy is trying to justify his pretty winter week ahead post. Give me a break! We are getting no where near 15 inches of snow in March. So, we will finish with about 70 inches tops for the season. I beleive the norm is around 100 inches far below our norm for the second consecutive year. So, not sure where you get on the low side of a normal winter Andy? You are reaching now. There are no storms on the horizon and time is running out. Get out the spring gear because spring has sprung.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-35412179604744245722013-02-28T10:43:25.517-05:002013-02-28T10:43:25.517-05:00I thought you said winter was over in January?I thought you said winter was over in January?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-57153407015093691642013-02-28T08:06:12.366-05:002013-02-28T08:06:12.366-05:00We're gonna finish February with around 29&quo...We're gonna finish February with around 29"-30", which is about 8" above normal for the month. Throw in a few more inches in April (hope we don't get any in April, but have to face those facts), and we will end up only a little on the low side of a normal winter.

AndyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5793508672957135735.post-50031639693471161242013-02-28T08:05:27.656-05:002013-02-28T08:05:27.656-05:00Really Weatherguy? Between last night and today, the airport has reported 3.9 inches! Oh, and its still snowing... Wouldn't be surprised if most areas see 5-7+" total by the time the weekend rolls around. Just goes to shows you that you don't need big storms to have snow pile up around here. Hats off to John and Stacey, you guys had the most accurate forecast once again!!Weatherguynoreply@blogger.com
