READY FOR MORE?

Written By: Scott Hetsko

As we expected in our Winter outlook, snow and cold has arrived early and stuck around. December was a record breaker and while January has been cold, only about half the snow of last month has fallen. We're about to add more to the tally on Wednesday.

Low pressure tracking into Virginia Wednesday morning will spread steady snow into the area. Snow may fall heavy at times especially in the mid morning to early afternoon hours. We predict a general 8-12" snowfall by late Wednesday night. Light amount of lake snow showers are possible into early Thursday as well. If you're looking for some signs of milder weather, you'll have to wait at least another 7-10 days.
