WINDS MAY NEAR 60 MPH

Written By: Scott Hetsko

Here we go again! Whenever storms track from St. Louis to Southern Ontario, we tend to get a period of very strong winds. Strong winds aloft will mix down to the surface beginning Wednesday night and continuing Thursday. Expect sustained winds between 20 and 40 mph but gusts near 60 mph. The peak wind gusts should be between midnight and noon Thursday.

Colder air will plow East resulting in a period of lake effect snow showers Thursday afternoon and evening. A few inches of snow is possible with some blowing snow at times as Winter reminds us that there's plenty of time in the season to go!
