CHECK OUT OUR NEW INTERACTIVE RADAR!

Written by: Liz Larson (our intern!)

Click here for our BRAND SPANKIN' NEW interactive radar!

Check out the interactive radar. It's Microsoft Visual Earth. So you can zoom in all the way to your house to see what's happening!!

One of my personal favorites, it that is shows where the lightning is. Unfortunately this time of year, it's not so useful, but definitely cool. Also it has warnings from the National Weather Service for local counties. The interactive radar even has a time loop, so you know what has been happening and what you can expect coming up.

It's really useful with all the rain we have gotten this weekend (it's officially 1.25 inches yesterday), because you can see exactly what is happening down the road from your house.

  1. It is cool! Way better since you changes the weather radar formats. I don't think those are much good. And lightning strikes, very cool! You have no pay for the upgrade on most weather sites to get this.(No don't get any ideas! ;)
