A LOOK BACK AT ST. PAT'S 2007 STORM
Written by: Bob Metcalfe
I almost forgot about this! Now I was living in West Virginia at the time... but St. Patrick's Day in 2007 was quite a mess for the northeast! The summary above shows spots that had over two feet of snow, most of which was in areas just south of Albany, while most of our area saw anywhere from 3-6".
Most notable was the 10 fatal traffic accidents, a relatively high number for a "moderate" snowstorm. This is a far contrast to this year, where we almost hit 60 degrees with enough sunshine for two days!
