WE'RE TALKING LAKE EFFECT, IN SEPTEMBER

Written By: Brian Neudorff

A storm system sitting over the Eastern Great Lakes will continue to pump some much cooler air across Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Because the water temperatures of both lakes will be warmer than the air moving over them it will help in producing some rain shower, luckily for us this is September and not November or December or we would be talking about snow and not rain.

It appears that this cold air will stay over the region at least through Thrusday. High temperatures will be in the mid to low 50s Wednesday and Thrusday. We could see a warm up as we go into the weekend but could still get some showers.
