NIGHTS ARE CONSISTENTLY COOLER NOW
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Can you feel Autumn creeping closer? I'm sure you've noticed that the humid, sticky days are long gone and probably for good. Temperatures tonight will fall into the 40s for everyone South of Lake Ontario. Scattered frost is possible in the Adirondack mountains by dawn Wednesday.
Since Summer began, we've lost almost 3 hours of daylight. Less solar energy of course translates to cool airmasses growing in the mid and Northern Latitudes. Before you know it, we'll be forecasting frost in about two weeks or so for the Southern Tier. Enjoy the change of seasons!
