More Clouds Today, but Mainly Dry

Weakening upper air disturbance & cold front will produce a good deal of cloudiness for the rest of today, with just an outside chance of a passing shower or two this afternoon.
Later tonight into tomorrow morning there will be a slightly better chance of experiencing a few scattered showers, but even that will be quite minor. As Saturday progresses, more in the way of sunny intervals will evolve thanks to drier air slowly, but surely working in from the northwest behind the front. So overall, it will be mainly dry Saturday & temperatures will peak in the low 60s once again.
On Mother's Day, it appears mother nature will be kind & provide a very nice day with a pretty good deal of sun & mid 60s for highs. Yes, it will be a great day to be outside with mom! Enjoy everyone!
First half of next week also looks great with more sun & even warmer temperatures thanks to high pressure that will probably slowly give way to more unsettled conditions later Wednesday into Thursday. We'll see. Either way, to actually get several mainly or totally dry days in a row will really help things dry out some.
So how about the chance of a cutoff low hanging around the east for a week, beginning right around the start of the Lilac Festival. Tell me it ain't true?
