Cool, Breezy, but Nice Holiday Weekend on Tap
Written by John DiPasquale:
After a bluster, chilly & damp Friday I do expect high pressure to nudge in enough to allow for some sun to shine Saturday, & build in right overhead by Memorial Day, which will set us up for a fantastic holiday for all the services, parades & barbeques on the holiday itself! Highs will make 50 to 55 today, low 60s Saturday, mid 60s Sunday & upper 60s to around 70 Memorial Day. Nice trend right!? The nights will be chilly within a few degrees of 40, with a slight risk for patchy frost in the normally colder valleys south of the Thruway across Livingston, Wyoming & Genesee counties. While our weekend looks pretty nice, just a little windy & cool, our friends to the east across Eastern New York & New England will be dealing with a nor'easter producing wind & rain storm that may even lay down minor snows in the high peaks region of the Adirondacks, Berkshires, Green & White mountains!! Crazy, right!?
The warming trend looks that occurs this weekend will to continue next week as a warm front attempts to push through Wednesday & in it's wake we could really heat up for late next week & possibly into next weekend. We'll see...since it is still a week plus out.
Have a great day & holiday weekend WNY!

Slept like a baby last night. Don't care how warm it gets during the day as long as the nights are cool. I will enjoy the next 3-4 days!
