Tropical Storm Dean Is Born

Tropical Storm Dean has formed just off the African coast. A tropical storm is official when within the center of the storm exceed 39 miles per hour. This system is expected to become Hurricane by weeks end. Long range forecasts put the storm into the Southern Gulf Of Mexico the middle of next week. Of course it's WAY too early to be certain but this storm could become the first significant Hurricane of the 2007 Atlantic season.
