A Warm Future?

Issued by the Climate Prediction Center around the beginning of the month, this is the temperature outlook for October, November, and December. Areas in the dark brown stand the best chance of running above average, while the areas in the lighter brown stand a decent chance of running above normal. In the unshaded areas, there is an equal chance of the temperature running above or below average.

As of this point, although technically we'll be heading into the cooler months, it looks like we'll still stand a good chance of running above average! We'll just have to wait and see....
