FINALLY! SNOW TO RETURN TO ROCHESTER

Written by: Scott Hetsko

The regions first areawide snowfall in nearly two months will begin Tuesday into Wednesday morning. As you can see from my snow forecast, heaviest snow accumulations will hug the Lake Ontario shoreline. This is due to lake enhancement expected to develop Tuesday night and continue North Wednesday. Up to 16" of snow could pile up within 5 miles of the shore by noon Wednesday! If you remember the snowfall from December 3rd and 4th, this will be very similar. Winds will gusts to near 30 mph by early Wednesday causing blowing and drifting of snow. Temperatures will take a tumble through the day Wednesday as temperatures will be in the teens much of the afternoon. Fans of snow, your time has come!
