Want Warm Weather? Go West, Young Man!

A sharp cold front diving South from Central Canada will plunge our temperatures back into the 50's by Sunday. While we'll be shivering in the East, it's like mid-July on the West Coast! Scores of record highs were broken from California right up Interstate 5 into Central Washington. They benefit from our cool weather. The trough in the Northeast is actually aiding in the amplification of the huge ridge out West. Slowly but surely the pattern breaks down allowing for a chunk of milder air to break away and move East toward your backyard by late next week. So hang in there with your "Member's Only" spring jacket, milder days are on the way!
