SO LONG, SPRING FLING!
You just knew it had to end! We were hoping for the 60 degree weather to last into the weekend but a strong cool front will keep us in the 40s most of the day Saturday. Temperatures will actually be their highest before dawn before slowly falling through the daylight hours. While there will be more clouds over the weekend, moisture will be limited. I expect only a chance for a shower or two on Sunday.
Periods of rain will develop as low pressure tracks into Eastern Pennsylvania on Monday. High pressure will once again provide good weather from Tuesday onward next week. A chunk of Arctic air will drop Southeast and graze the Northeast the last few days of March. We are simply too far out at this point to know how cold it will get around here. The good news is that although we can get cold, it won't last long this time of year. Have a great weekend!
Hey Scott, I have a large lilac bush in my front yard, and small buds are already beginning to enlarge. Not to mention that my whole yard has turned a nice green, as the soil has become warm enough to grow fresh grass. I can't recall a year when things greened up this early. If not for the brief stint of cooler weather coming up, things would start to blossom left and right. This is a crazy spring. Have we had a March this consistently warm and sunny before?
