BACK TO GREAT WEATHER THIS WEEKEND!
Written By: Scott Hetsko
We have seen measurable rainfall on 8 of the first 11 days of this month. We needed it for sure but I bet you are ready for a good run of weather, right? After a wet start to Friday, high pressure will build East from the Central Plains and park over us this weekend.
This will mean a good deal of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday along with a nice warming trend. Temperatures on Saturday afternoon will reach at least the middle 60s. 70 or better is likely on Sunday afternoon for most areas away from the big pond. Should be fine weather for the kickoff to the Lilac Festival at Highland Park. Be sure to stop by and say hello at our booth!
Scott,
ReplyDeleteI missed your special on Saturday night, because we lost power for about 12 hours.
What was your thoughts on this summer?
Thanks
Summer will I think begin warm for the months of June and July. August gets wet and cooler as Summer may start early but end early. I'll be sure to post the Summer outlook on our website in the next few weeks.
ReplyDeleteScott, did you hear about the 0.4" corrected at KROC? We're up to 90.2" for the season!

Scott,
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard any stories come out about farmers suffering damage from the frost and freeze of the last couple nights.
WNY and the finger lakes escape crop damage???
I haven't heard of any widespread damage to crops due to cold weather. Local farmers I think prepare well when they know cold nights are coming.
