VERY HEAVY RAIN FOR SOME SUNDAY

Copious rain fell early Sunday South of the city thanks to developing low pressure. An wide area of 2-3" of rain fell from the central Finger Lakes Northeast into New England. Widespread flood warnings were issued and have since expired in our area.

Ahead we expect a persistent upper air low to keep the clouds in our area early this upcoming week. Winds will increase on Monday from the Northeast up to 25 mph and we will be lucky to hit 70 degrees Monday afternoon.
