PLOWABLE SNOW POTENTIAL ON SATURDAY
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Long range data has been consistent in tracking a storm just South of N.Y. Friday night and Saturday. It appears that there will be a decent band of snow along the isentropic ascent North of the low pressure center. If the track remains favorable, I would expect a general 3-6" snowfall from late Friday night through the mid day hours on Saturday.
Scott, I am able to post on the blog only if no-one else does. once someone posts I can no longer post. It comes up a blank screen. What has changed? I have a new computer with all the latest software so that should not be an issue.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have had trouble posting too.
ReplyDeleteBut apparently not that time lol
ReplyDeleteYes the website still has issues. I get a certificate error every time I open this site on my Android.
ReplyDeleteI was getting a blank screen when I clicked on comments but I just downloaded Google Chrome for my browser and all seems to work great now. Try changing your browser to Google Chrome.
ReplyDeleteOh and YAY for the snow, I would LOVE enough snow to get the snowmobiles out!
ReplyDeleteIt works fine on my Android, actually better than my laptop. http://rhpweatherblog.blogspot.com is the link I use.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, Well that link is perfect and fast. http://rhpweatherblog.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAnd yes yea for the cold and snow!
Andy
Link didn't work for me on my pc. :(.
ReplyDeleteIf I borrow my friends I pad I can see blog and comment. But unfortunately can't borrow it all the time. I miss seeing all the regular bloggers.......especially since we are beginning to get a little snow. Maybe I'll try the google Chrome thing. Hopefully the bugs get fixed.

Only problem is all the regulars seem to be lost
ReplyDeleteThat was some snow! And late next week into the weekend and beyond looks really interesting!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is almost over and only a dusting in Fairport.
ReplyDeleteAnon, you must admit, the snow was coming down extremely hard and was fun to watch. Hopefully everyone can get some bonus lake effect tonight. And I don't know what Scott's team thinks, but the next couple weeks could give birth to some big storms! Any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed Weatherguy!
ReplyDeleteI also posted on FB in case some of the regulars are posting on there, so that they know Google Chrome works. You all should post too, we may catch some of them, if they are on there! I hope Weatherguy has a good hunch for the next few weeks!

Is it still "plowable snow" possible for Friday night Saturday? Seems like the forecast has backed off a bit.
ReplyDeleteI think you meant an area wide .002 inches last nite. LOL.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah...I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE NEW WEB PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT REALLY SUCKS.
ReplyDeleteScott - i know it's your fault the new web site is horrible, but I hope you are passing the word on that the majority of people who frequent your site are hating it. It's too bad, because of the site I feel like you've lost a lot of followers on the blog. It was always entertaining to see everyone's opinions on the weather. Hope things get worked out and people will be back:)
