Great Today; Wet Tuesday

Written by John DiPasquale:

A gorgeous, nice beginning to the week with sun & highs well up into the 70s, replaced by lots of clouds & some soaking rains to the tune of 0.75" to 1.50" for most, & in some cases mainly east a good 2+" could fall when all is said & done by early Wednesday!  This could lead to some localized flooding in normally flood prone areas.  This rain will be compliments of a strong cold front currently across the Central Great Lakes, & an area of low pressure developing in the South out ahead of the cold front.  The storm will be drawn to the north with all of deep, tropical moisture for late tonight through Tuesday.  We will then dry out for the most part, but turn quite chilly for Wednesday with some sun returning.  Highs by midweek will only hit the low 60s at best with a brisk breeze!!  The end of the should be pretty good again, though with upper 60s to mid 70s returning.

Much cooler air will likely blow back in over the upcoming weekend behind a strong cold front Saturday into Sunday.

Have a great day, & enjoy the awesome weather WNY!!
