The Joke is on Us!

Written by John DiPasquale:

Late February/early March chill will be felt through Wednesday with a little snow here & there at times through the period too.  What will make the 20s at night & 30s by day feel so much worse, though will be the gusty winds expected to consistently blow between 15 & 30 with a few higher gusts by day, & 10 to 20 by night.  The most significant lake snows should be off to our north & east in Northern Cayuga & Oswego counties & even a little in Southwestern NY.

Thankfully, come Thursday a more seasonable air mass will blow in at least temporarily, as it likely will turn a little colder again for Friday & Saturday, as a nor'easter slides up the coast & drags down some colder air & possibly a few lake effect snow & rain showers Friday night into Saturday.  A more active pattern will try to then evolve thereafter for the end of the weekend into next week.

Have a great day & stay warm everyone!
