Not a Bad Week, & It Looks Like A Great Weekend Ahead!

Written by John DiPasquale:

Hello WNY!  Today will end up being mainly dry with just a spotty shower or two possible later this afternoon into the early evening thanks to a little disturbance spinning through.  After a pretty quiet night tonight, we should be picking a few more showers & storms on our Wednesday afternoon & evening as the weak cold front depicted on the map above slowly nears.  If you have plans to go out to the PGA Championship go ahead with your plans just have an umbrella handy for your Wednesday.  Highs should make the low 80s with more in the way of humidity, which should stick around through Friday.

Thursday looks drier with more in the way of sun returning followed by POTENTIALLY a wetter Friday.  An area of low pressure will attempt to scoot through or just to the south & east Friday.  It's track will dictate the type of weather we see here Friday.  Latest indications are that it will provide a few showers/storm, but the most extensive shower & storm activity stays south & east.  We'll see...Stay tuned.
Either way, the weekend looks great with temperatures in the 70s by day & 50s at night with some sun both days!  Enjoy & stay tuned through the week for updates.
