TOO MUCH SNOW FOR A SLED RACE?!

Written by: Bob Metcalfe

I found this article quite interesting:

More or less, what is considered the "NASCAR" of sleddog racing was canceled, because of TOO MUCH snow. Frazee, Minnesota, has received roughly three feet of snow recently, and with blowing winds it has created drifts that the event organizers say they can't work with to make a groomed path, for safety reasons. The race normally is held at the end of January, and even this far in advance they can't get things done. What I find interesting is that they have only received 39.3" of snow since OCTOBER, where we had over 42" of snow in the month of December alone. How's that for ironic? And where is my dog?
