LITTLE MORE SNOW IN OUR FUTURE

Written by: Brian Neudorff

Saturday night into Sunday we will see a little burst of snow. Most of will see any where from 1 to maybe 3 inches, with the emphasis on the lower amounts. All of this associated with a storm system that weakened as it moved into western New York and allowed for a new storm to form off the east coast.

In its wake we will once again see a return of the arctic chill with temperatures falling back into the 20s Sunday & Monday. This will also bring back a return of some lake effect snow showers. Most of our winds will be coming out of the west focusing the lake effect off the eastern shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, like the northeast corner of Wayne county, but like we saw Friday, some of those bands can impact areas close to Lake Ontario. It doesn't look like Rochester will see a lot of snow but a couple of inches Sunday into Monday can't be ruled out.
