A MORE BRISK, BREEZY START TO THE WEEK
Written by: Bob Metcalfe
This evening's rain falling in response to a storm passing over us from the Ohio Valley will begin to break apart by Monday morning. As our winds begin to shift to the northwest, we'll see not only colder air push in, but an increase in wind speeds as well. No "strong" winds are expected, but this low is capable of producing 30-40mph gusts at times with sustained winds expected to be above the 20mph mark for most of the early parts of the day.
Fortunately for us, by the late evening things will begin to quiet down. We get a quick burst of sunshine on Tuesday and we push the shallow cold air away with a high near 50 in the afternoon.
