WHEN'S THAT SPRING-LIKE WARMTH COMING BACK?

Written by: Bob Metcalfe

We're about the wrap up the first week of Spring, and it's safe to say that it has felt like anything BUT Spring since Friday. High pressure has kept us nice and dry, but being placed on the east side of it has also kept us considerably colder.

Don't fret, things will get better! As you can see in the picture above, the jetstream is going to take a nice hike northward during the next few days, driven by an increasing southwest wind, which will allow for milder air to creep in. By Tuesday we'll be nearing 50 degrees and we are likely to surpass it several degrees after Wednesday. Unfortunately, showers will factor in as a weather-player by the mid-week, but truly "bad" weather doesn't look to have a place in our forecast right now.
