MUCH NEEDED RAIN
Written by: Brian Neudorff
Our streak of rain/snow free days comes to an end. A slow moving storm system will slide into the eastern Great Lakes and Northeastern U.S. and drop some much needed rain across western New York.
As you can see in this graph amount could range from 1 to 2 inches for many parts of New York state going into Tuesday and parts of Wednesday.
The last time we saw any measurable precipitation in Rochester was on April 7th. At that time we had received 1.6o" for the month but now we are 0.34" below average for the month of April. The rain we get over the next few days will help get us back to average and help take care of the dry conditions across the state.
Like many of you, I enjoyed our stretch of warm sunny weather, but we do need the rain and don't worry it looks like we will dry out and warm up going into the end of the week. Stay tuned...
