OUR NICE WEATHER MEETS IT'S MATCH
Written by: Bob Metcalfe
Our days of the 60s will come to a screeching halt by Sunday/Monday as a stormy and chilly pattern overtakes the eastern half of the United States.
First for Sunday, a backdoor push of cold air will suppress highs to only the low 50s. That's still manageable, but definitely a far cry from the mid 60s of both Saturday and Sunday.
The real "blah" weather arrives Monday afternoon as a slow moving low stalls itself out over the eastern Great Lakes, providing us with ample cloud cover, scattered rains, and eventually cooler air. Low to mid 40s is it Monday-Wednesday. But we do emerge victorious with sunshine by the late week. See that "record heat" and high pressure on the left side of the above image... yea, we get that by Friday! We won't be record warm, but we'll be right back to where we want to!
