Written By: Brian Neudorff

The Farmers' Almanac comes out today (Tuesday Sept. 1st) so in order to get people to buy it they have released part of their 2009-2010 Winter forecast.

They are forecasting "this winter will see more days of shivery conditions: a winter during which temperatures will average below normal for about three-quarters of the nation."

On the attached map you can see it is calling for us to be about average for temperatures and with precipitation but we're also close to the "Cool & Snowy" area as well.

You can read their press release on their winter forecast here We will have our winter forecast out later in the fall. What do you think feel free to share your opinions.
