COOL AND COMFORTABLE WEEKEND
Written by: Brian Neudorff
Weather really couldn't be better for an early August weekend. After a week of very warm temperatures and some stifling humidity cooler and more comfortable air will be in place for most of the weekend.
A vast area of high pressure will move out of Canada, we are already feeling the cooler air and lower dew points today and that will continue into Saturday. Highs today and tomorrow will be in the mid 70s and some places by tomorrow morning could fall into the upper 40s.
That area of high pressure then moves to the east and will allow for southerly winds to return as well as a little more moisture and warmth. Highs will return to the low to mid 80s by the end of the weekend, enjoy.
A little side note here, if you are a NASCAR fan I have been allowed to start a NASCAR blog here on RochesterHomepage.net. Feel free to join in on the conversation. I also provide weather forecast via twitter and other various website each and every week for the three main racing series in NASCAR.
