TUESDAY'S A SOAKER

Written by: Bob Metcalfe

We'll be looking at one of the few "mainly gray and rainy" days that we've had in a long time. Tropical-based moisture will roll up the east coast during the day Monday, with it arriving in our southern zones after lunch, pushing through all areas by dinner. This rain will come in waves, with a quarter to a half inch of rain total not at all out of the question during the day Tuesday.

Most of this rain scoots out east by Wednesday, thanks to building high pressure. The temperatures that are associated with this storm will be highs in the upper 60s, with overnight lows in the mid-upper 50s (seasonable.) Sunshine will build in Wednesday, with a nice day in store Thursday.

  1. It looks like our first frost might be coming by later next weekend or early next week.
