STALLED FRONT MEANS CLOUDS & POSSIBLE SHOWER
Written by: Brian Neudorff
Clouds will probably hold on for most of the day. In Rochester and close to the shores of Lake Ontario there could be occasional breaks for sunshine, but with a stalled front to our south across the New York /Pennsylvania boarder. This will keep clouds around and a possible shower for those in the Southern Tier into the afternoon and evening.
Overall there is not much expected this week. Highs will mostly be near 60, with a few days like Tuesday and Friday where we stay in the 50s and lows into the low to mid 40s. Wednesday could be another frosty start as lows dip into the 30s.
Thursday and Friday could produce a few showers with Friday being the best for rain. A cold front will slide through Thursday, but limited moisture with a storm system forming off the east coast could bring rain into the region Friday. Looking ahead to the weekend we should see a return to sunshine and temps seasonable this time of year.
Tomorrow I will write about the 4 year anniversary of the Oct 12-13 lake effect event.
