The Warmth Made It!

Written by: Stacey Pensgen We promised you warm temperatures on Sunday. By early afternoon, I'm sure many of you thought it was going to be a "busted forecast." We just needed to wait for the warm front to push through, and it did! By 3PM we were in the 60s (with very little help from the sun, I might add), and two hours later, we were solidly in the warm sector and pushing the mid 70s with full sun. A very warm airmass is heading our way. Areas in Michigan recorded temperatures in the 80s, but we won't see that heat. The cold front associated with this storm system should push through during the early afternoon on Monday, and with a good amount of cloud cover and even a few showers out ahead of it, we will likely be stuck in the low to mid 70s again. Tuesday will be more seasonable, but temperatures into the second half of the week will still be slightly above average.

  1. I see the dreaded 40's are showing up on the 7 day. Any idea how long the cool spell will last?
