Worst Day of the Week...

Written by John DiPasquale:

Good morning everyone!

The nastiest day of the week will be today with some rain, brisk east-northeast winds & temperatures not getting out of the 40s. Much better weather is ahead for tomorrow!

The slow moving area of low pressure crossing through the Mid-Atlantic to NYC today will keep us unsettled, brisk & chilly today. However, the storm will move far enough away tonight into tomorrow to allow some nice drying to take place. This will lead to some sun for tomorrow, which will make it look & feel better than today. There will be a cold front sliding through quickly midday Thursday with some clouds & possibly a passing sprinkle or two. Overall, though, we will have a decent amount of sun Thursday, followed by lots of sun Friday thanks to a strong area of high pressure centered just north of the border.
The weekend outlook still does not look too good Saturday with some rain, wind and cool to chilly temperatures. Although, Sunday now looks better with some sun & temperatures a bit milder than it appeared yesterday. Stay tuned. Keep your fingers crossed for continued improvements regarding the weekend forecast.
