Milder, but Still Damp at Times

Written by John DiPasquale:

Don't be scared! Yes, there have been a few glimpses of the ball of fire in the sky called the sun. You almost forgot about it, didn't you? All kiding aside, at this point we will take what we can get. Clouds will still be the rule through tomorrow & somewhat Friday. The storm that we've been talking about the last several days will slowly move almost overhead tomorrow & early tomorrow night, before finally departing Friday & Saturday. This will ensure the area of receiving some additional showers & possibly a few t-storms this afternoon through the rest of the week. It now appears that the most numerous shower/storm activity will occur later today through tomorrow, as the upper level & surface storm near the area.

Again, though, the storm system will finally crawl east as it continues to weaken later tomorrow night & Friday allowing us to dry some Friday, & even more so Saturday with more sun to kick off the weekend! Unfortunately, it does appear that a warm front with scattered showers & storms will blow through Sunday, with some additional showers & storms possible to begin next week in response to an approaching cold front. The temperatures will warm to more seasonable levels through Friday, before likely going a handful of degrees above average this weekend into the start of next week. At least the temperatures will be more typical through the rest of the period.

  1. That's the thing, I don't mind dodging the rain drops nearly as much if it's milder outside. It's so much more tolerable to deal with rain when it's in the 60's than rain when it's 45 outside. One feels like November....the other just feels like humid spring showers. I'm glad to see 40's for highs are officially behind us. Hopefully.....Hopefully temps that cold don't return again this season.
