NEAR RECORD HEAT AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY

Last week we had a day where we tied a record high of 91 degrees, we may tie another one on Wednesday! Sunshine, combined with hot air over the Ohio valley will mean a very hot day in our area on Wednesday.

Some town in the Genesee valley will likely hit the low to middle 90s on Wednesday afternoon. I expect Dansville to reach 94, Penn Yan to hit 93 and Rochester to officially top 91 degrees. Out record in the city is 92 set just four years ago in 2007. It's gonna be on HOT BBQ tomorrow night on channel 8!

    Scott,
    Do you think the southerly flow will be strong enough to push back the lake breeze tomorrow? I'm curious what temperature you expect it to be right on the water at Durand Eastman Beach tomorrow afternoon.
