Picture Perfect Today!

Written by John DiPasquale:

Just what you want to see! There is nothing on the Satellite & Radar composite loop, & for the most part it should stay this way through the rest of this Wednesday. Do whatever you can to get out & enjoy some of this spectacular weather! High pressure will keep us protected through a good chunk of Thursday, before a few showers & a storm will attempt to build in from the south & west. Again, though, most of Thursday looks dry with some sun fading behind increasing clouds. The weakening storm will likely drop a few showers/storm on us late tomorrow into Friday, but there should also be plenty of dry time on Friday too. Highs today through Friday will range from about 75 to 80.

High pressure will then come to our rescue just in time for the weekend, which of course includes Father's Day. As of now, it looks as though there will be a decent amount of sun Saturday & tons of sun on Father's Day itself. Thank you mother nature! Highs will be near 80 Saturday & into the low to perhaps mid 80s to wrap up the weekend. So yes, hanging out in a pool or at the beach will likely be quite popular on Dad's special day.

Some more heat will most likely greet us for the first half of next week with highs well into the 80s to possibly 90 or higher with the storm threat increasing by midweek next week. Stay tuned to News 8 for any chages. Enjoy the phenomenal weather today everyone!
