Slow Improvements this Afternoon

Written by John DiPasquale:

After a chilly, brisk & damp start to this Tuesday, the weather will be improving this afternoon & evening with breaks of sun becoming more prevalent, as high pressure slowly builds in from the northwest. Temperatures will peak out in the mid to upper 60s.

The sky will continue to clear some more tonight with winds going light. Temperatures will drop into the low 50s.

High pressure will provide the best day of the week tomorrow with considerable sun & seasonable warmth! Highs will range from 75 to 80 Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately, more clouds will begin working in late tomorrow night into Thursday with a few showers/storm possibly developing Thursday afternoon with a slow moving system coming in from the south & west.

There could be a couple of lingering showers Friday, but at this time Friday looks pretty dry & mild.

The latest outlook for Father's Day weekend appears to be great right now with a good deal of sun both days with highs between 75 & 80 Saturday & into the low 80s Sunday! Hopefully nothing changes with the weekend forecast. The News 8 weather team will keep you informed of the latest regarding that all important weekend outlook throughout the rest of the week. Stay tuned & have a great day everyone!
