The Sun is Back!

Written by John DiPasquale:

After about a quarter of an inch to a half an inch of much needed rain for most yesterday & last night, today will be very pleasant with sun & seasonably warm temperatures. The combination of the lingering low level moisture & daytime heating may scare up an isolated shower/sprinkle south & southeast of Rochester, but most will stay dry today.

High pressure providing us with the nice day today will keep us protected into much of tomorrow, but southerly flow of more humid air combined with a slow approaching weak storm could very well trigger a few scattered showers & storms tomorrow afternoon & evening. Late Friday night into Saturday the forementioned area of low pressure will intensify a bit & move across the region. This will likely trigger more numerous showers & storms Saturday into early Saturday night, before we dry out quite a bit Sunday with more sun & heat expected to return to wrap up the weekend.

Cooler weather should arrive later Monday into Tuesday & Wednesday behind a cold front that will probably have a few showers & storms accompanying it Monday. Temperatures will likely cool into the mid 80s Monday & back to around 80 for both Tuesday & Wednesday.

Enjoy the nice weather today everyone!
