Warming Up!
Written by John DiPasquale:
Yes, there are a few scattered showers to the west, but they are breaking & drying up as they attempt to move east into an area of high pressure sprawled across the Eastern third of the U.S.. I can't rule out a shower/sprinkle or two this afternoon, but by enlarge the remainder of today for most will be rain free. A nice warming breeze will also blow through the rest of today, which will push temps up to near 70 late this afternoon! Enjoy!
After a pretty mild night tonight, tomorrow will be windy & mild again with highs ranging from 65 to 70! There will also be some more sun Thursday with clouds on the increase later in the day & some showers/storm moving in during the evening.
Cooler, more seasonable air will arrive for Friday into the weekend with highs near 60 to end the week, but back into the 50s Saturday & Sunday with a few showers Friday & Saturday expected. Right now, Sunday looks to be the best day of the weekend with some sun & seasonably mild temps. More warmth will make a run at us early next week. We'll see how successful it is in getting in here. Stay tuned to News 8 for updates.
