How cold can it get?

Absolute zero is the temperature (in theory) that all molecules would no longer move. As temperature falls, molecules slow which is why water changes from liquid to ice. Absolute zero is not naturally possible. The Celsius and Fahrenheit scales are defined so this is −273.15 °C or −459.67 °F.
