Bermuda High Brings The Heat!
A classic summertime pattern is taking shape early this week for all of the Eastern United States. Large high pressure located over Bermuda will pump in hot and humid air from the Gulf states Northward Tuesday and Wednesday. Afternoon highs should easily reach 90, lower to mid 90's in some Southern Tier valley towns. Rochester's record high for Tuesday is 96 degrees set in 1944!
A cool front will force the heat off the coast early Thursday morning. Temperatures for the rest of the week will only reach the 70's in the afternoon.
i like this hot summer time ,the thing is that everytime we get hot temps a cold front comes by and drop the temps back in the 70s and this last weekend it gotinto the 60s .
ReplyDeleteUsually we don't see more consistent heat until July and August. Mid summer tends to have less hot and cool spells, just consistently warm to hot. We'll see in the weeks to come!
