Oh What A Night!

A wild night of severe thunderstorms across the area on Friday night! Numerous reports of wind damage, downed trees and almost 7,000 RG&E customers lost power at the height of the storms.

We enjoyed record heat before the passage of a cold front, which triggered the storms. Rochester recorded a top temperature of 92 degrees, a new record for the day. A tornado warning was also issued for a storm in Livingston County around 6:40 in the evening. There are no confirmed sightings of a tornado. If you've got any storm pictures, we'd love to see them!
