A Way To See Just How "Wet" Our Atmosphere Is!


This is what meteorologists call water vapor imagery. A bit different than a traditional satellite photo, it helps a meteorologist figure out what the moisture content of the atmosphere is in any given area. In the areas in white, the atmospheric moisture content is high, in the areas in black, the content is low.

  1. I would think the black would be more moisture and the white would be less. (I don't work at channel 8).
