Lake snows possible late next week!

Written by: Scott Hetsko

After an unusually warm October, our first taste of winter weather may come next week. A strong cold front will cross Western New York next Tuesday night. Polar air will follow as temperatures will dive into the 30's by Wednesday morning. Some parts of the region may see their first lake effect snow showers Wednesday evening into Thursday. November typically begins lake effect snow season in our area but that normally doesn't begin for a few more weeks. It's too soon to know who or how much snow might fall but it's unlikely we'll get a whole lot, stay tuned!
