We're in (Snow) Business!

With chilly Canadian winds running over the relatively warmer Lake Erie and Lake Ontario waters, most folks experienced their first bout of snow this season, all courtesy of the lake-effect machine. Though most spots didn't accumulate very much, if anything at all, some communities well southwest of Rochester did get a few inches of snow. In South Warsaw, in the higher elevations of Wyoming County, 5" of snow collected over the past day or so!

Although this is really par for the course for this time of year, many folks are happy to see winter returning after an October that was one of the five warmest in recorded Rochester weather history.
