Say It Ain't Snow!
Written by: Scott Hetsko
Cold air flowing over the warmer waters of Lake Erie will produce lake snow in the highest elevations Southwest of Rochester on Tuesday. How it will happen is the cool part! West-Southwest winds will push a single band of precipitation over the region. As this band intensifies, colder air will be brought down from aloft which will change rain to wet snow during the morning hours. This will likely only occur in areas over 800 to 1000 feet in elevation. If you live in these areas, we'd LOVE to get pictures of the first snow from you! Please email them to weather@rochesterhomepage.net
