Early Chill Hits Friday Morning
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Unseasonably cool air will parade into Western New York Thursday setting the stage for a frosty start to Friday. Clear skies and nearly no wind will create ideal net radiational cooling. All the energy the planet absorbs during the day can easily escape back to space, which means we'll cool quickly. Areas closer to the lake will remain in the upper 30s early Friday morning.
If you're wondering when you can usually expect your first frosty night, check out this map.
