BLOG: GAS UP YOUR SNOWBLOWER!

Written By: Scott Hetsko

A fast moving but juicy storm system which gave the Las Vegas strip snow yesterday will deliver a decent amount of snow here beginning Friday morning. Look for the first flakes between 5 and 9 a.m. with the heaviest snow in the midday hours. Snow fall rates could exceed 1-2" per hour which would certainly cause plenty of snow covered and slick main highways.

Here's an update as of 10 p.m. Storm looks healthy as snow is quickly developing ahead of the low which is still way out over Kansas this evening. The heaviest snow will fall in a 4-6 hour period in the midday hours. Still like the 5-9" totals in Rochester but the potential is there for up to 10" or so.
