Watching Wednesday's Possible Wintry Mix

Written by: Brian Neudorff

After Monday's rain and mild temperatures we will watch another fast moving storm slide into the eastern Great Lakes from the Ohio Valley Tuesday night into Wednesday.

This storm needs to be watched as it is forecasted to spread snow showers over western New York late Tuesday night and if temperatures in the middle layer of the atmosphere warm up enough there could be a wintry mix of snow, sleet and maybe even freezing rain.

As of writing this post there seems to still be some questions on the path of this surface low. If it goes farther north then it could be more on the warmer rain side or if it travels farther south maybe we see more in the way of just snow. Overall this storm doesn't look to be too bad, maybe cause some headaches on Wednesday morning.

Keep it tuned to News 8 & FOX Rochester as well as Rochesterhomepage.net for more information on this and other storms this season.
